06.06.2025: Open House at Sudbrook Kinderhaus

Sudbrook School Kinderhaus opened its doors to invited guests, neighbours and families on 6 June. We were honoured to welcome Sarah Olney, Member of Parliament for Richmond Park, to this informal event, which was even made even more joyous by the cheerful children.
Other guests included representatives of the legal team who had supported the contract negotiations for the purchase.
Matthias Krauss, DSL Commercial Director and Director of Sudbrook School, promised in his speech to maintain Sudbrook School, now part of the DSL Kinderhaus, as a local nursery whose children will transfer to local English schools, to the DSL Kinderhaus, or DSL Primary School after their time at Sudbrook.
We will invest appropriately in this site. We are proud of the clearly visible changes that have been achieved in recent months and were possible only through the creative and dedicated efforts of DSL and Sudbrook staff.
Parents expressed their enthusiasm about the continued existence of Sudbrook School and the investments that have been made.
Marie Rocha, Head of the DSL Kinderhaus and Sudbrook Kinderhaus, and Mariana Pandi, who is responsible for Sudbrook Kinderhaus, also addressed the guests, but the stars at the microphones were the children, who delighted everyone with their spirited singing. It was wonderful to see how courageous our little ones were on the big stage; at this age, there seems to be no such thing as stage fright.
At the end of the event, everyone agreed that Sudbrook Kinderhaus, just like its big sister, the DSL Kinderhaus, offers a safe, loving and stimulating environment for curious little explorers from the age of one. We look forward to seeing them grow and flourish over the coming years.
