Deutsche Schule London in Richmond has been awarded Ofsted’s top rating of Outstanding in its latest inspection, achieving the highest grade overall and across every category, which are:
Quality of Education, Behaviour and Attitudes, Personal Development, Leadership and Management, Early Years Provision and Sixth-Form Provision.
Based on the German curriculum and enriched with elements from the English system, DSL offers a holistic education for children from 3 to 18 years which opens doors in the UK and internationally.
Inspectors praised our pupils for their “exceptional behaviour” and commended the school for its “very high expectations”, and “ambitious curriculum”, as well as its wide range of extracurricular activities and strong preparation for future education and careers.
Head teacher Oliver Schmitz says:
“We are delighted that Ofsted has recognised the outstanding dedication of our pupils, staff, and families. This achievement reflects the values at the heart of our school: learning together, living together, creating together, and building bridges together.”
DSL remains committed to providing outstanding education, and opportunities for all of our pupils as we look forward to another successful school year.
